Cristian Boboila, Ph.D.
Cristian received a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Economics from Yale University. There, he worked in the lab of David Schatz. He conducted his Ph.D. research at Harvard University in the lab of Fred Alt. There, he studied a novel pathway for DNA double-strand break repair, Alternative End-Joining. As a postdoc in the Axel lab, Cristian is trying to understand how the brain utilizes olfactory information to generate learned behavior.
